Bruce Jowett Projects Manager Bruce started his career in Civil Aviation in the mid-1970's working in the technical support area. In 1989 he joined Jim on the Airways Modernisation Project, initially in the FAT/SAT phases for the SIMCAT & AIRCAT systems, and eventually as a Principal Software Engineer for Airways ATM Systems. Since then, Bruce has managed a number of acquisition projects, including STCA for AIRCAT, AFTN/AIS Replacement and more recently the Radar Modernisation Programme. Bruce has attended TUG conferences in Prague, Brisbane and Copenhagen. |

Jim Austin ATM Requirements Manager Jim started his air traffic control career in the late 1960s working as an ATCO in various positions in New Zealand. In 1989 he was seconded to the Airways Modernisation Project to take delivery of the new AIRCAT 2000 system from then Thomson-CSF and help with the implementation, including managing the simulator training of staff. Since that time Jim has been involved in the management of Airways ATM systems. Jim attended the TUG conferences in Prague and Salzburg. |

Raewyn James Property Coordinator Raewyn started her time with Airways four years ago after a career in finance. Her various roles have been a Management Assistant for Human Resources and Senior Management as well as a Human Resources Adviser. Raewyn has been the property coordinator for the Christchurch Campus and was heavily involved in the project management of the expansion of this campus. Currently Raewyn has taken a six month secondment back to Human Resources as a Human Resource Adviser. |

Ken Mitchell Corporate Communications Manager Ken has worked as Airways Corporate Communications Manager for the past six years. He is responsible for Airways New Zealands internal and external communications and acts as the company's spokesperson.
