The most visible part of aviation in New Zealand are the aircraft flying around our skies. For the most part, these aircraft are controlled by Air Traffic Controllers (ATC's) working in towers around the country and the radar centre (Christchurch), although airspace in NZ is made up of both controlled and uncontrolled airspace.

Unless stated, we hire for full-time permanent air traffic control positions; not for short-term positions or contracts.

As an experienced Air Traffic Controller you can usually expect to work at our main radar centre in Christchurch, New Zealand. For these vacancies we require radar experience. Occasionally we have vacancies for our Control Towers located throughout New Zealand or our Oceanic Unit based in Auckland.

We utilise a rigorous selection process to ensure that we employ controllers that will successfully adapt to a new ANSP environment.
