All Airways training meets ICAO recommended standards for air navigation services. Training is fully integrated. Trainees must complete and pass each step to gain an ICAO recognised air traffic controller license with rating validation. Airways is a participating TRAINAIR member.

Air Traffic Control Training Courses
Airways' Air Traffic Control Training Centre is a world-class facility, meeting or exceeding ICAO standards. Our training methodologies carefully combine instructor led classroom training with technology enhanced training to deliver the highest quality of ATC education.
New Zealand Residents should refer to ATC domestic training under Careers at Airways. Courses for overseas international students may be conducted either in New Zealand or in the student's home country. Training is normally conducted for overseas Air Navigation Service Providers however, on an availability basis, courses may be available for independent international students. All courses are subject to minimum numbers of students.
