AIRWAYS RELEASES SERVICE FRAMEWORK AND PROPOSED PRICING FRAMEWORK - AND SEEKS CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
Last year, Airways NZ embarked upon its Service and Pricing Framework Review, an extensive consultation and review project ensuring Airways’ service and pricing structures are transparent, consistent and able to meet customers’ needs now and into the future.
The Proposed Service Framework and the Pricing Discussion Document were released in December 2011, supported by a series of national roadshows to encourage customer feedback. A range of customers provided submissions on both the Service and the Pricing Frameworks. These submissions have been considered in the design of the following documents which are released today:
- Airways’ Service Framework – defines Airways base services and service levels,
- Proposed Pricing Framework – defines how Airways sets the prices for its Services, and
- Proposed Pricing Framework Explanatory Document (Explanatory Document) – provides the rationale behind the Pricing Framework, including consideration of customer submissions
- Example Price Tables (price calculator due for release 14 May).

We are now seeking submissions on the Proposed Pricing Framework; the closing date for submissions is 4 June 2012. Requests for further information are due by 18 May.

Service and Pricing Framework Project
“This project is about defining our services and the way in which we price them. It is not about pricing levels...but will deliver consistency and transparency to customers. ”
