National Briefing Office Services

This number is available for faxing flight plans to the National Briefing Office.
Remember, you must receive a faxed acknowledgement as proof the information has been delivered. If no acknowledgement is received within 5 minutes phone the National Briefing Office on 0800 626 756.
How Much?
Internet Flight Information Service (IFIS) is free of charge except for filing VFR flight plans
- VFR flight plans on the Internet cost NZ$4.50 + GST
- VFR flight plans filed by phone, fax or on frequency cost NZ$6.50 + GST
IFIS Internet Flight Information Service
The Airways Internet Flight Information Service (IFIS).
A pre-flight information and flight planning service for operations within the New Zealand Flight Information Region. For complete access to services provided by the site you will need to register.
Register Here Information provided by the IFIS is retrieved directly from the New Zealand AIS/MET database in "real time". MET information provided by Airways is detailed in the AIP NZ.
