Automated Billing System project commenced in Saudi ArabiaThe General Authority of Civil Aviation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (GACA) has engaged Airways International Limited (a subsidiary of Airways Corporation of New Zealand Ltd) to implement its Flight-YieldTM Automated Billing Solution.
GACA and Airways have been working closely together to modernise the billing process to deliver efficiency improvements as well as timely and accurate aeronautical billing. To achieve the goal of accuracy and timeliness, the Flight-YieldTM will interface directly with GACA’s three modern Eurocat ATM systems for real time access to high quality flight data. The automation of the service charge calculation process utilising Flight Yields patented data fusion engine, delivers significant efficiency improvements by reducing manual data manipulation, calculations and rework. “Our customer airlines will have a higher degree of trust in the accuracy and quality of our invoices ensuring prompt payment and less time and effort spent on corrections and credit notes”, says Eng. Mohammed A. Al-Salmi, the VP of ANS. “GACA plays an important role in the Middle East region and is committed to being an industry leader. We see continual process improvement and the maximising of technology as key strategic initiatives to deliver a safe and efficient air traffic control service to our customers.” “Airways is extremely excited to be working with GACA to deliver Flight-YieldTM.
